Anabeli Gonzalez is an artist based in Kalmar, known for her majestic ceramic pieces. Her arts bring together the rich materials, colours and shapes of her Mexican roots, while seamlessly connecting to Scandinavian calm and minimal design culture.

Anabeli has started a beautiful culture project called ‘Karneval Grandios’. It is a co-creative carnival that invites both children and adults into artful creation with clay, paper, recycled materials of masks and costumes for a true colourful carnival parade. The focus is on the process of creating and celebrating together, as a community. A carnaval for the people, that builds bridges and friendships.
